Olivia and Ryan met through mutual friends on a Halloween boat cruise on the Hudson River. Olivia was dressed as Cruella De Vil and Ryan was Superman! They hit it off and Ryan eventually proposed on a trip to California overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge! Needless to say, these two had a memorable proposal and they started planning their wedding shortly after. Little did they know, they would end up having a long engagement of over two years due to the pandemic.
These two were supposed to get married in April 2020, but had to postpone their wedding and, in the end, they were my most rescheduled couple with five different wedding dates. They tied the knot in a small minimony this past spring and postponed their big wedding celebration until it would be safer for their loved ones to celebrate with them. In the meantime, they went on an incredible honeymoon to Bora Bora while looking forward to finally having their postponed wedding celebration.
Their Clarks Landing wedding day was our last wedding for September and it was truly beautiful. When Olivia and Ryan began to plan their wedding day, they knew from the start they wanted a venue on the water. With all of the sage green and ivory inspiration Olivia was pinning, when they saw Clarks Landing, they knew it was the venue. It checked off all the boxes and it’s just so beautiful! They filled their day with white, sage green, and blush details and it turned out to be a truly stunning September wedding day. As with all of my postponed couples, it was worth the wait!!
