A Lakeside Summer Wedding at The Mill Lakeside Manor

The Jersey Shore has always been their happy place — summers stacked with family vacations, salt air, and the kind of memories you can feel in your bones. So when it came time to plan their wedding day, they knew they wanted that easy, sun-warmed spirit woven through every moment. The Mill Lakeside Manor gave them exactly that: a lakefront celebration carrying all the shoreline magic they love, from the fountain-dotted lake to the gardens bursting with summer color.

Family was at the very heart of the day. The bride’s twin brother stood beside her in the wedding party, joined by his wife, and the groom’s sister pulled double duty as bridesmaid and officiant — talk about keeping it in the family. Tucked into the bride’s bouquet was a piece of cloth that belonged to her great-grandmother, a quiet and beautiful thread of family history she carried with her down the aisle.

Dusty blue and soft pastels set the palette, and the florals were an absolute dream — lush pastel blooms and wildflower-inspired textures that felt like the height of summer. After a sweet first look by the lake, we wandered the grounds for portraits: the dock, the brick walkways, the white pergola, and that grand staircase inside the manor.

We always love photographing at The Mill. It’s an already stunning venue — the elegant salon where the bride got ready, the beautiful outdoor ceremony space, and a reception ballroom with tall windows overlooking the water. When the sun drops over the lake and the chandeliers come on, there is no better backdrop for a first dance.

From heartfelt vows under the floral arch to a packed dance floor complete with guests lifting them in their chairs, this was a celebration full of joy, laughter, and so much love — surrounded by the people who love them most. Here’s to a lifetime of lake days and family tables.
