Village Club of Sands Point Wedding

Una and Ben met at a bar in Manhattan for a drink. “One drink” turned into “let’s get dinner,” and 6 hours later, they found themselves having tried “one more drink” at 3 more bars in NoLita. Needless to say, these two hit it off right away and four years later, they are now husband and wife! Their wedding day was so dreamy, in one of the most unique venues I’ve had the honor of shooting at. When I walked into the Village Club of Sands Point I was in awe at the gorgeous architecture. My favorite was a tie between the light-filled inner courtyard and the elegant staircase. It felt like I had been transported to Europe!

Both Una and Ben got ready right at the club, making it so easy for their friends and family. They made full use of what the venue had to offer by getting ready on site, doing portraits in several of the spots both inside the venue and on the grounds, and of course hosting their ceremony, dinner, and dancing inside the Italian Renaissance style mansion, the Guggenheim Estate.

Una and Ben’s Village Club of Sands Point wedding really felt like fall! With warm autumn colors and dark green accents, they definitely played into the season and it worked beautifully at their venue. Una and Ben designed their day around the romance of their venue and included lots of DIY details that helped bring their vision to life. With Una being a talented calligrapher, all the details had a beautiful aesthetic that were a pleasure to capture!
