A modern and timeless lakefront venue in Spring Lake, NJ.
You may know The Mill Lakeside Manor by it’s previous name, The Mill at Spring Lake Heights. Located in Monmouth County, The Mill Lakeside Manor is well-known on the Jersey Shore as the original mill has been around since the early 50’s. Since then, the property has gone through many changes and the current venue was remodeled in 2018. Today it is a beautiful venue for a classic NJ Wedding. Ceremonies take place outdoors in their lakeside patio, which also doubles as a portrait location. The new façade of the venue also makes a perfect backdrop thanks to its clean white and elegant appearance. The reception room overlooks a lake and has lush greenery all around. It’s located on the second floor so in addition to having gorgeous views, it also lets in a wonderful amount of natural light. Guests will surely say, though, that the best part of the venue is its delicious food. From a photographer’s perspective, a huge perk of this venue is its proximity to Divine Park and the beach. Two beautiful portrait locations within just a couple of miles from the venue!
You can put your wedding dress on there but this venue does not allow couples to have hair/makeup done on site. We recommend getting ready at your home, a local AirBnB or hotel.
Yes. The ceremony space at The Mill Lakeside Manor is right on the water. Guests love the serene and picturesque setting.
Yes! In addition to the beautiful natural greenery, the building is beautiful, and right on the water. There's a dock there also that is popular for photos.
We recommend taking family formals in front of the building for nice shade, in the ceremony space, in the foyer, or on the back patio.
The food is absolutely amazing and the ballroom is so elegant! But my favorite aspect is the staff - you'll be treated like royalty here!

For fourteen years, I worked as a high school educator while building Idalia Photography - shaping the studio with the same belief that guided my classroom: structure creates freedom.
On a wedding day, that means when the timeline is thoughtfully designed and expectations are clear, there is space to breathe - space for laughter between portraits, quiet exchanges before vows, and the unscripted moments that become part of your story.
Preparation does not eliminate spontaneity - it protects it. When a day is paced intentionally, portraits feel natural, lighting is considered, and couples move through their celebration fully present.
Because legacy begins long before the album is designed... it begins in how your wedding day is experienced and preserved.
