Congratulations to Samantha and Ryan! Their summer Mill Lakeside Manor wedding was simply stunning. This is one of my all-time favorite venues in New Jersey, so I was thrilled to be here capturing their beautiful day. To compliment the gorgeous venue along the water, Samantha and Ryan chose a palette of dusty blue, sage, blush and midnight. It was the perfect balance of colors for The Mill Lakeside Manor. Ryan and Sam actually grew up in the same area but connected online in 2017. Their first date contained pizza, golf, and conversations until 3am. They both knew pretty early on that they’d found the one! Now they’re husband and wife!

Sam and Ryan’s wedding day was full of so many surprises for their guests and emotional moments, it was a blast! Ryan cried during their first look and when Sam walked down the aisle – it was absolutely sweet to watch. They’re both so emotional and it was obvious how much they adore each other. The first surprise for their guests was Nala’s appearance during their wedding ceremony. Nala is their gorgeous dog and she was a joy every time she made an appearance. She even agreed to a floral collar on her for the ceremony! She was so sweet during photos with Sam and Ryan, too! I always love when my couples include their furry family in their wedding day.
But, that wasn’t the only surprise for the ceremony. The newlyweds walked up the aisle while their guests popped confetti poppers. It was SO fun and a great photo op!! I loved watching their reactions as the confetti fell around them. Their reception had a few surprises, too – including a second dress for Sam for the cake cutting and a fun groom’s cake for Ryan! My favorite part of the reception might have been the little notes from Sam’s students about what love is and what advice they had for Sam and Ryan!
