I still haven’t gotten over Carey and Joon’s gorgeous late fall wedding at Park Chateau Estate, one of my favorite NJ wedding venues. Their entire day felt so elegant and it’s amazing to think they planned this all from out of state while Joon is in medical school. Everything that Carey and Joon picked for their day came together beautifully. This was truly a dream wedding and I was so honored to be a part of it!
Fall Park Chateau Estate Wedding Day
Carey and Joon married on a Sunday morning. Typically my wedding days like this are very tight timelines, but not this one! They had a small bridal party and prioritized portraits with each other over everything else. I love when my couples know what they want. In fact, for Carey and Joon, that looked like a long portrait session and after ceremony portraits! I felt like I was in a magazine all day long. From the sweet details at the start of the day to their incredible ceremony florals, everything was stunning.
After a beautiful ceremony, Carey and Joon changed into traditional Chinese and Korean outfits for the reception to represent their respective cultures. Their outfits were gorgeous. I loved the bright colors against the white backdrop of Park Chateau Estate. One of my favorite parts of the whole day was that they chose to hire the Shrewsbury String Quartet for their ceremony and reception. Instead of a DJ like so many couples, they opted to keep things light and elegant throughout the whole day. Honestly, I love the laid back vibe of this wedding with focus on beautiful details, romantic portraits, and connection with their closest loved ones.
Congratulations, Carey and Joon! I hope your trip to Paris (between residencies!) was a wonderful time. You both deserve it!
