Congratulations, Nicole and Danny! One of our gorgeous May weddings has hit the blog today. Nicole and Danny planned a beautiful spring wedding day at Park Savoy Estate – and we’re thrilled to be sharing it today. Their day had an elegant feel to it – filled with whites, blacks, vintage lilac and gold details. It was the perfect touch of spring to an otherwise classic wedding day!
Nicole and Danny met at the gym and Danny proposed during a trip to Lake Placid, NY. They had a long engagement, and it ended up being such a smart decision because by the time their wedding day came around, COVID restrictions had been lifted and they were able to celebrate safely without worrying about face masks and social distancing. Woo! Our associate team Marianne, Myra, and Amber were so excited to capture this day!
The Park Savoy Wedding Day
When looking for a wedding venue, Nicole and Danny felt like they were treated like family the minute they arrived at The Park Savoy and knew right then it was the right choice for them. They left with two bottles of pasta sauce, and Nicole’s Italian grandma said they had no choice but to have their wedding there! They made an excellent choice because the day truly turned out beautifully.
On their wedding day, Nicole and Danny took full advantage of all the amenities the venue had to offer. From getting ready in the bride and groom suites to sharing their first look in the garden to tying the knot in the new chapel and celebrating in the elegant ballroom, they didn’t miss a spot! I love that they read their vows to each other privately in the venue gardens. This was such a lovely moment between them. Another favorite moment of the day was when Nicole’s grandmother appeared as the flower girl during the start of the ceremony. What a sweet touch!
