Natalya and Stoyan planned a romantic winter wedding at the Estate at Farrington Lake that was filled with inspiration from their Eastern European family gatherings – and I loved every minute of it! They opted for an elegant palette of ivory, blush, and coral which worked beautifully on the chilly winter day they had. The Estate at Farrington Lake turned out to be the perfect spot both for it’s aesthetic but also to accommodate all of the special moments and traditions they wanted to include. Fun fact… I had actually worked with Natalya and Stoyan on a wedding day before – as they were in Alicja and Jeff’s wedding back in 2020. They walked down the aisle together as part of the bridal party. And now, they’re husband and wife! Those full-circle moments are always so special.
The Estate at Farmington Lake Wedding
A few days before their wedding, Natalya let me know that they’d be holding their ceremony outdoors. Normally, an outdoor ceremony in December is unheard of in NJ! But, I’m so glad they went against the norm because it turned out to be so beautiful and the crisp air was so refreshing on this 50 degree day. Everything turned out perfectly for these two! I think there are two moments that tie for being my favorites on this day – when Stoyan saw Natalya for the first time that day and when they surprised their guests with a choreographed dance during the reception.
