Summer Lake Valhalla Club Wedding

It’s hard to believe we’re already sharing our first wedding of the summer! This spring just flew by!! For our first summer wedding, we had the pleasure of capturing Raquel and Chuck’s wedding at Lake Valhalla Club in Montville, NJ. Raquel and Chuck love nature, including long hikes and camping, so when looking for a venue, they searched for a place that incorporated the beauty of nature and of course, a fire pit for S’mores, too! It’s no surprise they chose Lake Valhalla Club; this venue fit their vision perfectly!

On their wedding day, Raquel and Chuck got ready at a nearby hotel and then had their portraits, ceremony, and reception all on site. Their day turned out exactly as they had envisioned it: vintage romance with a bit of elegance and a touch of natural. Raquel incorporated antique pearls, an heirloom that brought that vintage touch, and Chuck brought the romance. First, he wrote Raquel love letters to be opened at specific times throughout the day and then he had the best reaction to seeing her during their first look. Not to mention the fact that he then took her out on a rowboat on the lake for what might be one of my favorite moments from their wedding day! They couldn’t have planned it any better if they tried.

Congratulations, Raquel and Chuck! We are so happy for you two!! Your wedding was so beautiful and now you get to enjoy Thailand and Japan – life is good!
