Last Saturday, we had the pleasure of capturing Melissa and Billy’s beautiful fall wedding! These two newlyweds found us thanks to Melissa’s brother, whose wedding we photographed over three years ago. We got to see lots of familiar faces, but one of my very favorites was getting to see our former bride and groom’s son, Melissa’s nephew and youngest ring bearer!! He nailed the photos with the bridal party! Throughout the day, I was reminded of how wonderful it is to be a part of our clients’ special days and how amazing it is to have the opportunity to capture multiple milestones for their families. We are so fortunate to do what we do!
The Wedding Day
Melissa and Billy love the fall and used beautiful tones of burgundy, blush, and navy for a truly warm and romantic feel to their day. I love the florals that Melissa chose for her and her bridesmaids’ bouquets. They were full of dahlias, mother of pearl roses, and just the right amount of burning bush and they complemented the romance of Melissa’s gown perfectly. Melissa and Billy wanted their guests to have a wonderful overall experience so they made sure to get all of their photos done before the ceremony so they could have a back to back ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and allow everyone to enjoy the evening.
Melissa and Billy, thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day! Congratulations!! We hope you are enjoying your honeymoon in Mexico! I think it’s safe to say everyone is jealous of your stay in Playa Mujeres and in the overwater bungalows of Maroma!
