New York Country Club Wedding Photos

I first met Lauren when she was a bridesmaid at her sister’s wedding a couple of years ago and I was so excited when I saw she was engaged. She and Matt met when they were in high school so this wedding day was long awaited. Lauren is one of four sisters and Matt has two siblings; family is at the center of their world and this wedding day was full of beautiful moments between them and their families, too.

Lauren and Matt each got ready at their parents’ homes, which I thought was so appropriate and sweet. Their parents’ live just a few minutes away from each other so it was pretty convenient for everyone. When it was time for the ceremony, Lauren and her father made their way there in a Rolls Royce. I love when a bride gets to have a special moment with her father on the way to get married. Now that I have a daughter I can imagine how special that must be.

Lauren and Matt were married in a traditional Catholic ceremony. Lauren had the biggest smile as she walked down the aisle with her father, and I love that she wore a blusher with her veil. I don’t get to see these very often and, paired with a cathedral veil, it was stunning. After their ceremony, we got some pictures of the newlyweds with their classic car and then they were off to their venue!

After meeting them for their Lavalette engagement session last year and hearing of all their wedding plans, I knew Lauren and Matt would have a gorgeous fall wedding. For their reception, they chose New York Country Club and I was so excited to see how it all came together. When I asked them their biggest hope for their wedding day, they told me they wanted it to be fun and relaxing for everyone attending. And they wanted it to be a reflection of how much they love each other. I think that’s exactly what their day was!

Lauren and Matt, a big congratulations to you on your wedding day! It was absolutely stunning and I loved being a part of it!! We couldn’t have asked for better weather and you chose the perfect weekend for beautiful fall foliage. I hope you’re enjoying Hawaii!!
