Lindsay and Matthew’s original wedding plans were impacted by the pandemic last year so they decided to get married last October and postpone their sequel wedding to this spring. It finally took place earlier this month and it turned out beautifully! They each got ready with their wedding party at separate beach homes. Since they didn’t want to do a first look, we got as many photos done before the ceremony as we could so they had less to do after the ceremony. Thanks to some planning beforehand, it went off without a hitch!
Bay Head Yacht Club Wedding
This traditional wedding day began at Sacred Heart Church where Lindsay and Matthew saw each other for the first time. I love that this church has a balcony – it makes for a great perspective for photos! Afterwards, we headed to Bay Head Yacht Club – just a few minutes away – for more portraits and their reception. Everything looked incredible!! Lindsay and Matthew chose a beautiful color scheme of dusty purple, slate blue, and taupe for their bridal party and decor. And with simple and elegant white florals, everything looked perfect for their coastal venue.
My favorite part of the day was just before sunset when Lindsay and Matthew decided to go for a stroll on the docks for some additional photos. It was so worth the few minutes we spent out there because it made for the most beautiful golden hour portraits!
