Winter Wedding at The Palace - NJ Wedding Photographer

Alicja and Jeffrey’s gorgeous winter wedding was the perfect way to start to my 2020 wedding season! I met these two this past summer when they invited me to California for their engagement session. They were such a pleasure to capture and I knew they’d be wonderful to work with on their wedding day, too. The day finally arrived this past weekend on a beautiful winter day and it was such a joy to be a part of!

Inspired by the neutral colors of winter, Alicja carried a bouquet of white roses, winter berries, and other white florals with hints of greenery. The winter theme set the tone for the entire day and was accentuated by burgundy bridesmaid dresses, pretty shawls, and elegant black ties. Alicja and Jeff tied the knot at St. Peter the Apostle, right on the campus of their alma mater. I love that these two returned to Rutgers University for their wedding day and were married in a place that has such special meaning to them.

When it came to portrait time, we spent some time in Old Queens and then made it to the Palace at Somerset Park to squeeze in some more portraits before the reception. My favorite part of the day was seeing Alicja and Jeff having the time of their lives on the dance floor! I love how they were able to relax so that they could enjoy themselves fully – something I wish for all of our couples to experience.
