From the moment we arrived, we could tell this was going to be a truly unforgettable celebration. The beautiful, timeless venue provided the perfect backdrop for a ceremony that reflected their personalities and love story.

One of the most special elements of the ceremony was Patrick’s grandfather, Allan, who gave a heartfelt reading. The family connection and meaningful words added a deeply personal touch, and it was a moment that we were honored to capture. Hannah shared the sentimental reason they chose Canoe Brook. It was a place that had been part of her life since childhood. Her memories of growing up, swimming, and spending time at the restaurant were something she and Patrick wanted to share with their friends and family. As they began dating, they continued the tradition with an annual paddle weekend, making this venue not just a wedding location, but a place filled with cherished memories.

As a nod to Patrick’s service in the Army, they chose a military tradition to cut the cake – a saber! This was the only military tradition they incorporated, and it made for a dramatic and memorable moment that their guests won’t soon forget.
