The Couple
Caroline and Tom are such a relaxed couple! I love how they approached their wedding day! Both of them were so excited to just enjoy every single moment of the day, and didn’t let anything worry them. Of course, they had the help of Kelly and her team over at Socialife Events so they truly didn’t have to worry about a thing! These two have known each other since college so the day was long-awaited and it couldn’t have gone any better.
The Wedding Day
Caroline and her bridesmaids started the day off at Caroline’s mother’s house where they all got ready in the prettiest home that coordinated perfectly with Caroline’s wedding colors of celadon, navy, and blush pink. Not only was every detail beautiful, but they had the best light!! I was in heaven taking all my detail shots, my favorite being Caroline’s engagement ring, which actually contains an heirloom diamond from her late grandmother. Not to mention all the photos of Caroline and the ladies in front of a beautiful mantle. While the ladies were getting dolled up, Tom got ready at the BeachWalk Hotel in Sea Bright and spent the morning having a great time with all his buddies. Since Caroline and Tom met at Ithaca, there were lots of college friends who made the trip to the Jersey Shore to celebrate with them.
As for the wedding day style – I don’t even know where to begin! Caroline’s mom is an amazing planner and decorator so she really took the reins when it came to planning a theme for the wedding. Caroline dreamt of something elegant but simple with loose bouquets, beautiful greenery, and plenty of white florals. My favorite part of the day was during the first look when Tom took one look at Caroline and couldn’t believe what he saw. He kept telling her how beautiful she was and it was the sweetest.
Caroline and Tom, congratulations again on your big day! Enjoy touring Maui and Kauai but most of all, enjoy this wonderful transition into husband and wife.
