Today I get to share Dana and Patrick’s wedding from back in November! These two met at a bar where they connected over drinks and hit it off right away. One of my favorite details from their love story was told by Pat’s brother’s best man’s speech at the reception. He told us about how the first time Pat brought Dana home to meet his family, he knew Dana was pretty special. Pat warned him and their other two brothers not to mess it up for him… because Dana was the prettiest girl he’d ever seen. Cue the “aww’s” amongst all the guests!
Timeless Wedding at the Molly Pitcher Inn
Dana and Pat’s fall Molly Pitcher Inn wedding was beautiful and classic! With an elegant color scheme of black and white, with pops of burgundy to highlight the season, their entire day was simply stunning and it was such a pleasure to capture. Dana took full advantage of everything the Molly has to offer by getting ready on site and reserving their spacious bridal suite, too.
When it came time for the first look, Dana and Pat saw each other for the first time out on the deck overlooking the water and we managed to squeeze in their photos and their wedding party photos before it started to rain and then *hail* on the way to the ceremony. It was the biggest storm so I’m thankful for the first look they shared that allowed us to get all their photos done before the bad weather. It was a close call but, nevertheless, I may have gone overboard sharing photos in this post because I have so many favorites!
Dana and Patrick, what a pleasure it was to capture your wedding day! Your love for each other as well as your friends and family was evident all throughout the day and it was an honor to witness and document for you. Congratulations!!
