Congratulations to Christina and Scott! They’re now husband and wife after an absolutely stunning summer wedding at Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury. This is one of my all-time favorite venues in New Jersey, it has been for years. My sister-in-law actually got married there back in 2016, but it looks SO different now after their updates and renovations. I was so excited to be back here to photographed Christina and Scott’s wedding day. Christina and Scott actually met in California, but flew back to be married in New Jersey, Christina’s home state. It wound up being a perfect day for them both.
Classic Black Tie Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury Wedding
The newlyweds chose an elegant palette of navy, ivory, and gold to compliment the spaces at Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury. Everything was black tie and felt so classic. Christina and Scott definitely planned a beautiful day! They had lots of fun too, including a first look that was full of smiles, a golf cart ride to the front gate, and tons of laughs with their bridal party. That’s what your wedding day should be filled with – lots of love!!
Christina and Scott held their ceremony in the chapel at Shadowbrook. It’s absolutely stunning!! Beforehand, Christina and Scott spent a few minutes on their wedding day doing photos at their ceremony location and I have to say it was one of my favorite moments of their wedding day. With lots of white everywhere, it seriously looked so elegant and turned out to be such a great spot for portraits and the actual ceremony.
Afterwards, they held their reception in the ballroom. This space has to be one of the most beautiful and upscales spots in New Jersey. They infused more of their navy accents throughout the room, which brought a little pop of color against the ivory centerpieces and table decor. Every single guest had a great time celebrating Christina and Scott. I loved watching just how happy they were the entire day!
