The Details
Kate and Mike met in high school and have the cutest proposal story! They were picking out their Christmas tree for their first Christmas in their home together last December. Mike asked Kate “Is this the one?” to which Kate responded “I think so” thinking he was talking about the tree! He said “Me, too” and got down on one knee to propose. She said yes and they’ve been planning their big day ever since! They chose Pen Ryn Estate in Bensalem, PA, as the location for their big day and we couldn’t be more excited for them. We shot at this venue for the first time last year and instantly fell in love with this historic riverfront estate! We’re thrilled to be capturing their wedding day there next year. Not only are Kate and Mike the sweetest couple but their wedding is going to be romantic, rustic, and fun – all qualities we love in a wedding day =)
For their engagement session, I met Kate and Mike in Philadelphia, since that is where they live. We started out by Water Works and then made our way towards the river and boathouses and ended up on a dock that had the best views of the city! We got super lucky getting access to such a unique location and we were all pretty excited about it =) I’d say this is a great start to documenting Kate and Mike’s love story! Here is a peek into my time with them!
