Oh, Emilia! She was such a sweetheart!! Not only was she one of the very best-behaved babies I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with but she was adorable, too! She had the best cheeks!! Emilia and her parents found me thanks to Emilia’s grandmother, who works at the school where I used to teach. It was a such a pleasure working with this family and documenting this little doll at just 12 days of birth. Plus I got to catch up with her grandma, which was such an added bonus! Emilia’s photos are the perfect example of a collection of images that we can achieve during a mini-session. We used a beautiful cream blanket as the main backdrop, pairing it with different textures and shades of peach. Emilia rocked all these images in just an hour and a half! She basically slept the entire time so I was able to get several different set-ups from her in the cutest poses. I’m in love with her peaches and cream color scheme – it’s definitely a favorite among parents lately so I have more of this color palette coming soon to the blog. Plus I have so many new accessories from Blueberry Props that I’m excited to continue showing them off, too. One of my favorite accessories from this session is the peach mohair bonnet that Emilia is wearing. I’m definitely such a big fan of the gorgeous Italian mohair that it is made of – it’s so incredibly soft! I may have to get one in each color =) This session just screams spring and it makes me so excited for all the babies coming to see me over the next few months – it’s crazy but I’m now booking newborns through August! Enjoy this peek at Emilia’s session!
