When Joaimee and Danny decided to have a Long Island City engagement session, we were immediately excited! As much as we love to shoot in our favorite NJ spots, we also love to discover new places to shoot at and this one was amazing. This was our first time in Long Island City and it definitely did not disappoint. We met up with Joaimee and Danny at Gantry Plaza State Park, which lies on the East River and has spectacular views of Manhattan. It was a gorgeous day and we had the most beautiful backlighting all throughout the session! Joaimee and Danny actually live just a few steps away from this park and have these amazing views of the city right from their home – they are so lucky! Jay and I just loved getting to know Joaimee and Danny during our time with them. These two are such a fun couple! They warmed up to the camera right away and were joyful, romantic, and funny. We can’t wait for their May wedding! They will be having a church ceremony in Manhattan followed by a yacht reception sailing around NYC. To say we are excited is an understatement! Joaimee and Danny, congratulations on your upcoming wedding! We can’t wait!
