Long Beach Island Engagement Session Kaitlyn and Ryan

Engagements

Nothing says summertime like the beach! Kaitlyn and Ryan’s Long Beach Island engagement session is so romantic (and so summery), I can’t wait for you to see it. Kaitlyn and Ryan wanted to celebrate where they got engaged, so we planned their session on the beach. We lucked out with a beautiful sunset and views of the water, so it was truly the perfect day!

Kaitlyn and Ryan met during their freshman year of college – during their first college course (8:30am English!). Although Ryan barely showed up, they became fast friends. Over the next few years, they began to hang out more and more with their group of friends before they ever began dating. Kaitlyn and Ryan and been friends for three years before they realized they wanted something more. They told me they never really had a specific first date because their relationship just kind of happened.

Now, they’re planning their dream wedding for the summer of 2023 at Park Savoy Estate. Kaitlyn and Ryan told me that they want a classic and timeless affair, with a neutral color palette including lots of ivory and greenery. Their inspiration has been for their guests to “see the love both Ryan and I share for each other, eat some great food and dance the night away!” I know it will be a beautiful night! Congratulations gain, Kaitlyn and Ryan! I can’t wait for you to enjoy a look back at your LBI engagement photos!

“Ever since freshman year of college, we were great friends. We would always end up gravitating towards each other when we would go out, the conversations were just so easy and comfortable!”

“Since I was a little girl, I always went down to our family shore house. Ryan understood that both down the shore and family are very important to me. We live in Long Island now, but he knew that when the time came he wanted it to be near my family in a place that i loved. My mother and Ryan actually worked together to come up a plan to get me down the shore for the weekend (wasn’t that hard twisting my arm, I try and go down as much as i can!). They made up a story how we were picking up my aunt at her house in LBI, but knowing my aunt, she’s always late and we had to pass the time by walking by the barnaget light house. As we turned the corner by the light house, the gazebo was full of balloons and a banner that said ” Will you marry me?.” Me being me, I started bawling my eyes out. then i turn around and Mr and Mrs Kirby popped out of the bushes!! every one I loved was in the same place and I was so surprised!”

“My favorite feature is the sentiment! The Diamond is actually Ryans mothers diamond. It’s always scary when a new chapter of your life begins but this to me means that I am accepted and loved by his family!”
