Happy September, friends! It’s hard to believe that August is over and here we are in the last days of summer and getting ready for the start of fall in just a few short weeks. I don’t know about you, but this summer flew by for us! We can’t even begin to list all the wonderful events we’ve been a part this season (and we still have 4 more weddings to shoot before the official start of fall!) but today I’m excited to feature this lovely editorial shoot I had the opportunity to be a part of last month. When my friend Jeanne from Bogath Weddings and Events reached out to ask me to shoot an editorial piece for the Fall 2017 issue of Bay Magazine, I knew it was going to fall right smack during our busiest month this year but I couldn’t say no! Jeanne is amazing at everything she does so I knew it would go off without a hitch, plus she was putting together an incredible list of vendors for a six page spread in LBI’s most popular leisure and lifestyle magazine.

By the time the day of the shoot rolled around, I was ready to spend the day with this talented group of creatives and work with them in the relaxed garden at The Gables. As soon as I arrived and walked up the flower-filled path to this gorgeous Victorian Inn, I knew it was going to be a wonderful day. It felt like I was walking through a secret garden that only few have the privilege of knowing in order to go back in time to the late 1800’s. It was the perfect inspiration for this editorial shoot full of gorgeous florals and the must stunning invitation suite (in some of my favorite colors, no less) among other beautiful details. It was hard to keep these images under wraps the entire summer but today, the Fall issue of Bay Magazine has officially been released so I can now finally share a peek into the shoot with you.
