Happy October, friends! I have no idea where September went – it was tied with October as our busiest months so it flew by for us, as I’m sure October will, too! There is so much going on here behind the scenes, including lots of engagement sessions, six weddings this month between my associates and me, a ridiculous amount of editing, a huge rebrand, and a seven month old who is on the move, ha! Olivia is growing so fast – she is a pro at crawling and she is also walking with her push walker. But about last weekend! I’m so excited to be sharing Victoria and Vinny’s wedding preview today.
Victoria and Vinny had the most beautiful and relaxed early fall wedding at Lake Mohawk Country Club last weekend. They both got ready on site, making everything incredibly convenient for their family and friends. I love that they chose a classic fall color scheme: navy, burgundy, and ivory with pops of champagne and blush. It was the perfect combination to complement Lake Mohawk Country Club in the fall! Victoria worked closely with her florist to create some fun, modern floral rings for her bridesmaids to carry. They were so fun! I hope to see more of those for weddings coming up! They were a great way to tie each of her bridesmaids’ mismatched gowns together for a beautiful fall look.
My favorite part of Victoria and Vinny’s wedding day was their first look. They both seemed a little nervous and when they saw each other they both got so emotional. It was so sweet to witness! After their first look, we had a relaxed portrait session with just the two of them and the stunning Lake Mohawk as a backdrop. I always look forward to capturing weddings at this venue for its scenic location – the views of the lake are like no other. Not only does it make for a beautiful portrait location but it is also such a gorgeous place for a ceremony. You just can’t beat the views. Victoria and Vinny had such a beautiful day and I’m so thankful I got to be a part of it. Below are some highlights from their big day!
