Christina and Garrett met in Wyoming while Christina was studying at the University of Wyoming and they now live in Colorado. When planning their wedding, they decided to get married in Christina’s home state of New Jersey, and I’m so glad they did because I got to capture their wedding at one of my favorite venues, the Ashford Estate. Christina told me there’s just nothing like a Jersey wedding and they fell in love as soon as they walked onto the grounds. I have to agree it’s the perfect spot for a fairy tale wedding day!
On their wedding day, Christina and Garrett both got ready at the estate and shared an emotional first look right on the grounds. We then had lots of portrait time, which I was so thankful for! Wedding days go by so fast, so it’s a treat when couples have enough time to enjoy their day together and with their loved ones. It’s all the more wonderful when the weather holds up, especially after an iffy weather forecast with potential rain. When it came time for their ceremony, Christina and Garrett said “I do” in a romantic and sweet ceremony in the barn before heading over to their reception to celebrate. It was quite a day!
