Ballroom at the Ben Wedding

Tiffany and Joe had a beautiful wedding at the Ballroom at the Ben in Philly and I’m so excited to be sharing it with you! I met Tiffany when she was the maid of honor for her sister’s wedding, which I shot last year before the pandemic. I was so excited when Tiffany reached out and wanted to have our team capture her day. Our associate photographer, Jocelyn, lives right outside of Philly so it was the perfect fit!

When Tiffany and Joe got engaged, they knew they wanted a venue that meant something to them and their story. Since Joe’s family is from Philly and it was one of the first places they went together on a trip when they were dating, finding the Ballroom at the Ben was a great stroke of luck. Not to mention, it’s where the last scene of Silver Linings Playbook was filmed – and Joe loves Bradley Cooper. It was meant to be!

Together, they planned an elegant wedding including portraits at the Rodin Museum and a celebration that honored both of their heritages and what they love about Philly. I also love that Tiffany’s brother-in-law (my former groom) officiated the wedding. What a meaningful way to include family. Tiffany and Joe also planned a tea ceremony to honor their parents and Tiffany even got to wear her traditional Chinese dress for a little while that day. What a beautiful way to honor their families. They also brought what they love about Philly into the day – including in their centerpieces – where they shared their favorite donuts from the city!
