Chrissy and Andrew were all smiles on their beautiful Bonnet Island Estate wedding day and were so fun to capture! They planned a gorgeous coastal inspired wedding day on Long Beach Island, one of Chrissy’s most favorite places in the world. Both Chrissy and Andrew love the beach and were engaged on Cape Cod, so when it came time to choose a venue, Bonnet Island Estate was a no brainer. It was the perfect venue to provide the elegant coastal feeling they were searching for. Chrissy and Andrew were the most joyful couple all day long and it truly made their wedding day special to photograph.
Coastal LBI Wedding Day
Both Chrissy and Andrew prepared for the day at Bonnet Island Estate but didn’t meet up until their traditional church ceremony. Andrew was so excited to see his bride! He actually gave her a double thumbs up as she walked down the aisle towards him. It was super cute – perhaps one of my favorite images of the day!! They sat together during the ceremony, which isn’t always the case in more traditional ceremonies and this was SOOO nice! Future couples take note! I loved their little interactions and I could tell they loved it too – they were stealing glances throughout the whole thing! It was adorable.
Once we got back to Bonnet Island Estate, we walked around the venue grounds and took a good mix of portraits on the grounds and dock. After we captured those, we headed into the reception space. Chrissy and Andrew wanted to do a ballroom reveal of their setup. I LOVE when couples do this! It’s the perfect time for some portraits of them in the empty room with their decor.
Chrissy and Andrew kept a nautical and coastal theme throughout their day. From a gorgeous tiered cake with mini wooden chairs to their fun oar guest book – they kept the theme present throughout the whole day. I loved the multiple shades of blue they used all day long. Everything looked amazing at Bonnet Island Estate for Chrissy and Andrew! Thank you both for creating such a beautiful and joyful day. I’m honored I could be there to capture it all!
