A couple of weeks ago I met up with the P. family early on a weekday morning.  Getting up early to get to Sandy Hook before the crowds really paid off because we had the beach all to ourselves.  Once we had finished at the beach we headed over to one of my favorite spots in Fort Hancock to do some 1st birthday portraits of the little man in his adorable outfit.  Sessions like this one already make me miss family and children’s photography so much, even though I still have a few left before we transition to only newborns and weddings  (Click here if you missed the post on changes in portrait photography).  It also makes me miss beach sessions since I only have a few of those left, too! Yes, I guess I’m feeling nostalgic today.  But soon we’ll have lovely fall foliage and wonderfully crisp autumn days and I always look forward to the change in seasons.  For now, enjoy this end of summer beach session of this beautiful family of three.
