Announcing my new studio and website!

Business

Eeek!! I’m so excited to share two huge announcements today! The title of this post may have taken away the suspense but I’m so excited to share this news! This off-season has been unlike any other, as I’ve dedicated the last three months to two big projects!

First: I have a brand new studio! After outgrowing my in-home studio a while back, and shooting out of friends’ studios the past few years, I started looking for my very own space last fall. It took some time (and a lot of fruitless searches) but I finally found the place I was looking for. A newly-renovated space just a short drive from my house *and* just minutes from the beach. A place where I can hold my in-person consultations, show off our newest albums, custom framing and other ways to display your photos… and of course create beautiful images for my portrait clients. I can’t express how excited I am to have this space!

And now for Announcement #2! As the title of this post gave it away, – my new website is live! After a few months full of brainstorming, copywriting revisions, image selections, and website tweaks, the new online space of Idalia Photography is finally here! With the help of my website designer, Katie from Ribbon and Ink, and my copywriter, Erica from The Write Lens, we kept the same timeless brand that Katie created for me back in 2019, and just revamped the website. Well… “just”… if you only knew all the work that went into this site! Luckily, I had the most amazing designer and copywriter working their magic behind-the-scenes. I can’t thank these ladies enough for accommodating all my requests!!

The goal of the new site? To create an online home that will attract clients with a vision for a photography experience that aligns perfectly with my current offerings. A photography experience that has been refined over the last decade to deliver both style and substance, both ease and excellence. A photography experience that is stress-free for both couples and families alike. And yes – I did just say families! For those of you with a baby on the way, or kiddos who are growing faster and faster each year, I’m excited to share that I am now accepting newborn and family clients. My new website has an entirely new page dedicated to my brand new Portrait Experience, and while I’ve reached my cap for 2023 weddings, I can’t wait to fill the rest of my 2023 calendar with portrait sessions. I’m also currently booking 2024 weddings so if you’re getting married next year, reach out so we can chat all things weddings!!

I am completely filled with gratitude for the amazing experiences that I’ve shared with my clients that have allowed my business to grow more and more each year. I couldn’t have built this business without you and now I’m excited to make a new commitment to you.

A commitment

With the addition of enhanced offerings and the new studio comes a commitment to making your home more beautiful. This year, we are encouraging you to make your home a more beautiful place filled with imagery that reminds you each and every day just of how much you are loved. Images that allow you to relive moments that will fill your heart with happiness each and every time you look at them.

We’ve created so many amazing photos; now it’s time to show them off in your home.

We now offer an amazing line of curated products just for you and this next year, we promise to help you choose images, sizes, frames, and print products that illuminate your walls now and for generations to come.

The experience that we’re proud to offer:

  1. New studio – I can’t wait to welcome you into my cozy, brand new space. This special place offers a relaxed environment for couples to check out our newest album samples and for parents to relax as I photograph your sweet babies and kiddos.
  2. I believe everyone should feel amazing for their portraits. Over the last decade as a wedding photographer, I’ve worked and connected with the best artists in the area and now you get to benefit from those connections as we now offer hair and makeup for all shoots local to my Point Pleasant studio and full styling options, too, so that you can look and feel your best during our sessions together. I will coordinate on your behalf, making your scheduling stress-free while leaving you confident and feeling beautiful.
  3. I have carefully curated the finest handmade heirloom-quality photography products available in the marketplace, all made right here in the U.S.A. These one of a kind pieces include custom frames, photo blocks, and albums, all designed to showcase your love through amazing images as art.
  4. In-home installations. No more nagging hubby to put up that picture frame for you! All artwork now includes in-home installation for the NJ/NY/PA area. As soon as your artwork arrives, we’ll schedule a time for my team to come install your custom wall art on your walls so that you can start enjoying it as soon as possible.
  5. A client closet! I’ve started a client closet so that clients (especially mommas) can come and choose a dress for their portrait session, helping to create that stress-free experience that I want my clients to enjoy. I can’t wait to show you all the beautiful dresses I’ve selected for you! No more stressing about what to wear for your maternity, newborn, and family sessions!
  6. Continued support by my design team and assistants. I’m not a one-woman show over here – those days of thinking I had to do everything myself are long gone! The best way I can serve my clients is by focusing on what I do best – taking the photos and making the vision a reality! I’m leaving the rest up to my team – from a stylist to help you with your outfits, to my design team to help customize all of your artwork and albums, I’m proud to offer a full-service experience from start to finish that encompasses the talents and strengths of my entire team.

Phew!

2023 is going to be a great year – I cannot wait to work with my current and past clients and meet new ones too!

Open House

I’ve been so busy the last month making the new studio space welcoming and comfortable, (and figuring out how to get the town to approve a sign!!) and I’m just about ready to start scheduling in-person appointments for an Open House this spring! Soon you’ll be able to come see me for consults and studio tours. Zoom has been great, but I’m ready to start connecting with you all in person! The studio is located in downtown Point Pleasant and I can’t wait to greet you here with a big hug. Click here for more info on the Open House!

Thank you for following along on my journey as my business continues to grow and evolve. And now, with no further ado, I invite you to browse around my new online space:
