Kelly and Kyle have been in each other’s lives longer than either can remember. They grew up in the same small town while attending school together from a very young age. They eventually became grew closer while they both worked at a local community pool. They joked and laughed more and more each day without even realizing that they were building the foundation of a friendship that would eventually turn into so much more. Kyle seemed to figure it out first and was very persistent in attempting to get Kelly to go out with him. Eventually, Kelly could not resists and they had their first date and, now, almost a decade later, they’re now husband and wife!
Kelly and Kyle’s late summer Windows on the Water at Frogbridge wedding day was romantic and stunning – everything they ever hoped for. When Kelly was sharing what inspired their wedding day, she told us that she just loves the love at weddings and knew from the start they wanted a romance filled day with elegant blush and gold details. Our team has always loved the elegant of Windows on the Water and the newlyweds brought the space to life with their carefully chosen details – it’s safe to say our team loved capturing this day!
I have to say that out of all the decisions these two made regarding their big day, the most important and impactful one was their decision to share a first look before the ceremony. Not only was it such a sweet moment between the two of them, but it literally saved their portrait session, as it started to rain right before their ceremony. Had it not been for the first look and doing their photos beforehand, they would’ve missed out on all their outdoor photos. It would’ve been such a shame! They did end up having to move their ceremony indoors, but by that time they had already gotten so many photos on the beautiful grounds of Windows on the Water.
