Congratulations to the new Mrs. and Mr.! Christine and Tim are married. This fall, they hosted a gorgeous wedding in Philadelphia at Vie by Cescaphe. This was a new venue for me and I absolutely loved it. Vie by Cescaphe is the perfect spot for a classic Philly wedding. Christine and Tim told me they always wanted a Philly wedding and had heard amazing things about Vie by Cescaphe – once they walked in, they knew it was the one! They filled the space with the perfect balance of sage green, blush, and black details to customize their celebration. Everything was absolutely stunning and I couldn’t be happier that we were there with them in September to capture this special day.
Philly Wedding Day
These high school sweethearts got ready separately – Christine at her parents’ home and Tim at theirs – before meeting for a first look. I absolutely adored Christine’s parents’ house – it was classic and a wonderful spot for creating timeless images for their daughter. During their first look, I got to meet their dog and we made sure to capture some sweet images of him and his owners. Afterwards, we hopped on the trolley and rode into the city. There, Christine and Tim wanted portraits at the First Bank and Benjamin Rush Garden. One thing that stood out to me on their wedding day was the variety of locations we were able to get to for their portraits.
We ended the trolley ride at their venue, Vie by Cescaphe. Christine and Tim hosted a beautiful ceremony, complete with a time capsule box for their 5th anniversary. I love that in 5 years, they’ll open up this box, drink their bottle of wine and erad the letters they wrote to each other! Vie by Cescaphe is seriously gorgeous. It has so much natural light and I loved capturing the ceremony and their reception. Christine and Tim kept the party going with their reception, too. From a really beautiful petal toss to flambe to end the night, everything was a lot of fun for everyone!
