It was so good to see Kaitlyn and Adam again! Since their Skytop Lodge engagement session, I’d been waiting patiently for their wedding day to arrive! They’re such a sweet and joyful couple and I knew I’d love spending the day capturing their love and their wedding. As expected, the day was perfect and a pleasure to document for them.
Kaitlyn and Adam knew from the moment that they arrived at the Refinery at Perona Farms that it would be where they got married. As they walked around and saw this new venue and then heard their date, April 8th, was available… they knew it was meant to be! You see, five years ago, these two went on their first date on April 8th and then they got engaged on April 8th last year. Needless to say, the fact that they can now call April 8th their wedding anniversary makes it all the more special.
This was my first time photographing a wedding at this beautiful New Jersey venue and I have to admit, I fell in love with it, too! Their ceremony space had the most gorgeous natural light and I loved the way they transformed the reception space! Kaitlyn and Adam really leaned into the spring color palette with dusty rose, blushes, and creams filling the venue. It complemented the greenery of the ceremony space beautifully, and added the perfect pop of color against the brick of the ballroom. Check out some of my favorite images from the day below.
