I don’t think I’ll ever forget how Derrick proposed to Katy. It was during a trip to my favorite city in the world – Paris. They were on one of Paris’s most romantic bridges, the Pont de Bir-Hakeim, when Derrick popped the question and Katy said yes! It was such a magical proposal in arguably the most romantic city in the world, so it was only fitting that these two choose a French-inspired estate to tie the knot and remind them of their Parisian proposal. Their wedding day was beyond perfect, and today I’m so excited to share their wedding album!
Recently, Katy and Derrick took advantage of quarantine to order and design their wedding album and it has already been signed, sealed, and delivered! This wedding album turned out so beautiful, and I’m excited to share it with you. These two had a dreamy summer wedding at Park Chateau Estate almost two years ago, but you’d never know it was already a couple of years ago because of the timeless style of their wedding. A stunning lace gown with a cathedral veil and a classic black tuxedo are two elements that will ensure a wedding won’t look outdated in just a few years, and these two nailed their wedding vision perfectly. For their album, they chose a slate linen cover, which complemented the gray of the bridesmaids dresses perfectly. This was such a pretty summer wedding – check out some of my favorite spreads below and click here for their full wedding day recap.
