Congratulations, Nicole and CJ! They’re married and they planned the most beautiful springtime Crystal Point Yacht Club on St. Patrick’s Day this year. It was so good to see them both. I actually met Nicole when I was a teacher. We were student council co-advisors and I adored working with her. I’ve always loved how funny she is and how she loves to laugh and is so down to earth. Getting to photograph her wedding was extra special to me. When I found out she was engaged, I was beyond excited and then when she asked me to photograph the big day, I was ecstatic. I knew it would be a beautiful day… .and it was. We definitely had the luck of the Irish on our side all day long!
Crystal Point Yacht Club Wedding
Nicole and CJ incorporated their love of St. Patrick’s Day into their wedding day. They’re both Irish, and green is Nicole’s favorite color. I loved all of the fun ways they brought it all into the celebration. From super cute cookies to lots of green uplighting, the entire wedding was a blast. Nicole and CJ fell in love with Crystal Point Yacht Club and it was the perfect venue along the water for their Irish-themed day. I completely understand – I drive by Crystal Point Yacht Club all the time, it’s near my new studio. It’s absolutely lovely! Nicole and CJ prepped before meeting for a first look along the water front. Nicole actually did a first look with the groomsmen before meeting with CJ that was so fun and showed off everyone’s personalities.
To top it all off, we lucked out with a beautiful spring day for the wedding and had gorgeous waterfront views all day long. We explored the marina for some of their portraits, too. I always love getting to be by the water. It’s nice to have a quiet moment away from the venue, too, for the couple to savor their wedding day. Nicole and CJ held their ceremony inside Crystal Point Yacht Club with the water behind them. Their reception, too. Crystal Point Yacht Club was renovated recently and the cocktail hour space is even more incredible now! Nicole and CJ’s friends and family definitely know how to party. I had a blast watching them all get their moves on. Plus, I got to see so many former teacher colleagues. It was amazing to see everyone again!
Congratulations again, Nicole and CJ! I’m so happy I was able to spend the day with you. Your wedding day was special to me – and I hope you have a wonderful life full of love together!
