The Wedding Day

Sandra and Derek met in middle school and started dating in high school so, needless to say, their wedding day was quite long-awaited! When they reached out to me about photographing their wedding, I immediately started seeing all the similarities between the wedding day they were planning and our own wedding. They planned to have a destination wedding with a private ceremony, accompanied by their closest family members, and I’m so honored to have been a part of it. From the moment I arrived at The French Manor in the Poconos Mountains, I was immediately welcomed by Sandra, Derek, and their families, and I felt right at home. After spending some time capturing both Sandra and Derek getting ready, I made my way out to the stone chateau where Sandra and Derek had their first look. I loved Derek’s reaction to seeing his beautiful bride before accompanying her down the aisle to their ceremony overlooking the crests and ridges of the Poconos Mountains. It was quite chilly that day but Sandra and Derek didn’t seem to mind! They were getting married, after all! Congratulations, Sandra and Derek! I hope you have a wonderful honeymoon in Malaysia and enjoy celebrating with Sandra’s extended family in Hong Kong!
