Introducing Emilia! When I asked her mother which colors she’d like me to avoid during her session she said “Colors in general.” She wanted an all neutrals session for her little girl and you can see why in these images! This all neutrals session is just gorgeous, if you ask me. As much as I love soft colors and I love to style sessions based on two or three colors, there’s a lot to be said for a session with just creams and whites. There’s a feeling of innocence and newness that I get when I look at these images and I love the fact that they’re so classic and timeless and won’t ever look outdated. On the day of Emilia’s session we started out with family shots. Our initial plan was to have Emilia in her birthday suit but this little doll had other plans! She only wanted to be wrapped! So wrap up her up is what we did, and she ended up dozing off in her parents arms as we were capturing the first images from the session. Once we got started on Emilia’s individual images, she was sound asleep and allowed me to get several different set-ups for her parents to choose from in their final gallery.
