Fall is Susan and Neil’s favorite season. They love it for its crisp weather and beautiful colors, but also because of Halloween, one of their favorite holidays. From the start, they set the tone of their autumn-themed wedding by incorporating a gold foil skeleton couple for their Save the Dates. Not only did it capture their love of Halloween, but it also acknowledged their careers as resident physicians. The gold foil was carried through in their wedding invitations, which had a fairytale floral design in classic fall colors, their gold-painted center piece branches, and the ornate style of their venue.

Susan and Neil planned their wedding from out of state, as they met during their medical school orientation when they started at Albany Medical College six years ago. They’re currently resident physicians in anesthesiology at Albany Medical Center so I can only imagine how challenging it was to plan this wedding day! The big day finally arrived last Saturday and we’re excited to share a few highlights from their day below, shot by our associate photographer Jocelyn at The Manor.
