Jessica and Thomas’ wedding at The Palace at Somerset Park was an unforgettable celebration of love, laughter, and timeless elegance. They knew they wanted a wedding that exuded timeless romance. Initially, they envisioned a black, white, and gold color scheme, but as soon as they settled on a fall date, they were drawn to deeper hues like burgundy, adding a touch of warmth to the classic look. As foodies who love exploring new restaurants and cocktail bars, they wanted a venue that not only had a classic vibe but also catered to their shared passion for food and drink.
The Palace at Somerset Park was the perfect fit, offering both the elegance they desired and the culinary excellence they craved. With the venue’s romantic ballroom and impeccable service, Jessica and Thomas’ guests were treated to a beautiful evening, full of laughter, heartfelt moments, and great conversation. They included several meaningful personal touches to their wedding day. Jessica wore her mom’s bracelet, her grandmother’s sapphire and platinum ring, and a borrowed necklace. These family heirlooms added an extra layer of sentimentality to her stunning look.
Tommy, who wore his grandfather’s cufflinks, was also connected to his family through these special items. In addition to these precious tokens, the couple displayed photos of their relatives on their wedding days, which were prominently featured in the cocktail hour room near the fireplace.
From the start of the evening, it was clear that this wedding was going to be filled with energy and excitement. Guests enjoyed every moment, from the lively cocktail hour with custom napkins featuring the couple’s beloved cat Ernie’s face to the Kate Spade toasting flutes and cake knife – a special gift from the bridal shower.
In true Jessica and Thomas fashion, they made sure the cake cutting was a fun, personal moment. The black tie optional dress code added to the elegant but laid-back vibe, ensuring that everyone could feel comfortable while celebrating the couple’s love.
