Jay and I really love podcasts! We listen to them while we edit, while we run, or while we’re in the car and we find that the time we spend listening to podcasts is always time well spent. From informative to educational to inspiring or just simply entertaining, there are many podcasts out there to pique anyone’s interest. So today we’re sharing our favorites with you! Check out our six favorite podcasts below:
Freakonomics Radio If you’re a fan of the books, you’re going to love this podcast! Stephen Dubner hosts in-depth discussions about the most interesting ways in which economics affects how we behave in our daily life, the world we live in, and more.
StarTalk Radio is hosted by Neil deGrasse Tyson, an amazing astrophysicist and director of the Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. He and his guests, ranging from comedians to experts in any of a number of sciences, weave between chatting informally and popularizing advanced theoretical physics.
Talking Red is for our Devils fans! (Rangers fans, don’t hate the three Cups since ’95!) As you might have guessed, this is a hockey podcast that focuses on all things New Jersey Devils, from game recaps to trade rumors.
The Lively Show is a weekly podcast hosted by Jess Lively, a sweet and inspirational woman who shares her thoughts on living by values-based intentions. She also interviews successful entrepreneurs and bloggers, each sharing their own secrets to success. The Lively Show is in between seasons right now so it’s the perfect time to catch up on Season 1 episodes before Season 2 starts.
Sprouting Photographer | The Business of Photography publishes interviews with photographers and business experts as well as discussions about the business of photography. Their list of past podcast guests is quite impressive and they just celebrated their 100th episode, so if you’re a photographer, that’s a lot of podcasts to keep you entertained while you edit!
Photography Marketing Masters is run by Nigel Merrick, a British guy currently living in Tennessee. Nigel interviews successful photographers who share ideas, strategies, and insight into how photographers can stay up to date in an every-evolving industry.
