Our bags are packed and our lovely house sitter is all settled in!  I thought this day would never come but it is finally here… Jay and I are off to Italy to get married!  Only 6 more days until our big day and we can hardly wait!  Tonight we’re catching a flight to the Eternal City.  Tomorrow we’ll head right to Tivoli to meet our amazing photographer, Daniele Lanci (check out his blog in a few weeks to see a few of our wedding pics) and Tuesday starts the marathon of appointments with the US Embassy in Rome, the priest who will marry us, the venue, and most importantly, with our wedding planner, Federica, from The Italian Wedding Event.  Both she and Fatima from NVS Events have been working so hard to make our wedding day perfect and I think it’s going to be everything we’ve been dreaming of.  We really can’t wait to meet Fede because she has been so instrumental in our wedding planning for well over a year now. Our family and friends begin to arrive on Thursday for a couple of days of sightseeing, good food, Italian wines, and gelato before we tie the knot on Saturday at noon.  Needless to say, Jay and I can’t wait to start our adventure!  Of course, we cannot forget about our loyal clients so we will be checking email on a regular basis.  Don’t hesitate to email us if you would like to book us for your next portrait session or event.  We are currently accepting booking requests for dates after August 14th only.  Have a wonderful summer, everyone, and arrivederci!!
